tribhangi lal

Every aspect of Lord Krishna’s life in Indian mythology indicates the highest truth in different field related with a human’s life.

Krishna in blue form clothed in yellow, suggests pure infinite consciousness on earth in the finite form, since blue is the color associated with infinitude and yellow, the color of earth.

Lord Krishna is identified with flute which is an inert insentient piece of matter but when played by lord emanates divine music.

Here in this painting Lord stands with his body bent at three places playing flute. It is a meditative pose. Thus the name “Tribhangi lal “.

Tribhangi in hindi language means "bent at three places"
